Our unisex Warrior Geisha t-shirts are designed in-house and hand-printed onto 100% organic cotton,  Fairtrade Earth Positive t-shirts that are super soft, high quality and climate neutral (they're manufactured using sustainable energy generated from wind and solar power). The water-based inks we use are vibrant and long-lasting (please see our care instructions below) and don't harm the environment.

The Design

Warrior Geisha features an 'onna bugeisha', or female samurai, silhouetted against a blazing sun. The distressed look of the print echoes the texture of traditional wood-block prints. It's inspired by a woodblock print by Master Kuniyoshi Utagawa depicting a female samurai wielding a naginata pole-sword. Onna bugeisha are legendary characters who fought alongside their male counterparts as equals in feudal Japan.

Care Information

The water-based inks we use are harmless to the environment, but they do require a little care to keep them looking their best. We recommend always washing your t-shirt inside out and at a maximum temperature of 30°C.
